MAFGA volunteers conduct the following activities.

Language Exchange Program in Japanese Foreign citizens and Japanese volunteers exchange through Japanese conversation. While deepening mutual understanding, members exchange useful information for their daily life. Japanese volunteers help out foreign citizens for solving their problems. There are three programs: "Himawari (sunflower)","Japanese class for long-stay foreigners", and "Konnichiwa Nihongo (hello Japanese)".
Multi-cultural Nursery Child-care service for the parents who study in MAFGA Japanese classes. Volunteers will find it interesting to learn the difference of culture and custom for child-raising depending on the countries.

Multi-cultural Children’s Circle, “Kodomo Hotto” Volunteers support children who have their roots in foreign countries and now live in Japan because of various reasons, for their Japanese, school subjects, and their living environment. There attends a wide range of ages from primary school students to senior high school students.
Editorial Group of Volunteer Newsletter, “Meron” Publishing the monthly volunteer newsletter「MELON」After planning and gathering materials, volunteers edit the latest information about local internationalization, aiming at a multi-cultural society.

Editorial Group of Multi-lingual Newsletter, “The Minoh Post” Publishing the multilingual newsletter『THE MINOH POST』written in three languages: Korean ,Chinese and English. It promotes multilingualism of local and municipal information and encourages foreign citizens' social participation.

More volunteer activities:
Translation Make use of your language skill. Volunteers are needed for various languages. Interpretation is necessary in many occasions such as consultations, events, school classrooms, etc. Translation is necessary for many kinds of documents from. foreign languages into Japanese and vice versa.
Home-Visit
Home-Stay
Home-visit is a Homey exchange between foreign students and host families without lodging, while Home-stay with lodging from 2 nights to 1 month. It is important for host families to understand the intent and purpose of the program since both programs involve the whole family like inviting Home and going out together.
Cultural Presentation Volunteers introduce Japanese culture like tea ceremony, origami, kimono dressing to foreign citizens, and introducing foreign culture to Japanese citizens as well.
